Vacuum multiple times leading up to an event.
It can be tiresome when it comes to vacuuming, but if your home has kids and pets running around, you should plan to vacuum more than once during the days before the holiday.
Living Room 1/10
Refresh your carpet!
A professional carpet cleaning can have your carpet looking spotless for your friends & family. Adding deodorizer can neutralize foul odors left by pets or constant traffic.
Living Room 2/10
Set a timer!
Timers can be your friend and keep you on task. They will break up cleaning into smaller, more manageable tasks rather than one large project.
Living Room 3/10
Do little things to stay tidy!
This includes fluffing pillows, washing throw blankets, and straightening any area rugs. The little things always make a big difference to the room.
Living Room 4/10
Messy spills happen!
Adding our carpet protectant can have you ready for any messes. Spills and spots are no match and can help relieve you of stress when it comes to accident-prone guests!
Living Room 8/10
Empty your vaccum before it's full.
Waiting until it's full can inhibit your vacuum's efficiency. Emptying regularly prevents clogging and ensures your vacuuming isn't releasing dander into the room.
Living Room 7/10
Vacuum pet fur with the proper attachment.
Using the wrong extension can place more work on yourself. The best attachment to use for pet fur is a rubber bristle brush, paired with a rubber pet hair lifter. It loosens the hair and allows for more suction.
Living Room 6/10
Make space for food & drinks.
Holiday decor adds flair, but be mindful of where you place it because guests need space to set their glasses & plates down. Doing this can help stop a spill from happening.
Living Room 5/10
Don't scrub when spot cleaning the carpet.
Scrubbing can untwist fibers in your carpet and create a damaged pile. We recommend blotting when spot treating so you are gentle on the carpet yet tough on spills.
Living Room 10/10
Funky furniture is no fun!
With professional cleaning, you will enhance the appearance of your couch, so you don't have to hide it from guests. This means you can ditch the slipcover or large blankets and show off your refreshed, inviting upholstery.

Don't mix chemicals from different products.
Acids commonly found in bathroom products create dangerous chlorine gas when combined with bleach. Rinse off each cleaner with water before using another. Also aways have plenty of airflow!
Bathroom 8/9
Protect yourself from harsh chemicals!
Always wear the necessary protection to keep you safe when using cleaning chemicals and mold. Rubber gloves, closed-toed shoes, and aprons are a great place to start.
Bathroom 7/9
Spray the best way!
Spraying directly on areas like tabletops or glass can create a solution buildup, leading to greasier surfaces and attracting more dust and dirt. If you spray directly on, remember less is more and don't oversaturate.
Dining Room 7/7
Don't lift furniture in the wrong way.
When lifting heavy furniture like dining room tables, stretch for 10 minutes to prepare your body for any intense moving that needs to be done to clean hard-to-reach places. Furniture sliders are also fantastic to use to make moving easier.
